60. CHANGE ORDER WITH HDR ENGINEERING, INC. FOR FINAL DESIGN SERVICES ON GILBERT ROAD BRIDGE AT SALT RIVER Approve Change Order No. 6 for Consultant Services Contract No. 2015-039, with HDR Engineering to perform final design services for Maricopa County Department of Transportation, Project No. TT0339 Gilbert Rd Bridge at the Salt River, for a Sum not to exceed $5,786,006.50. This is an increase of $999,470.23 from the current contract value. The contract completion date shall be extended by 3,255 days after the Notice to Proceed has been issued to include post design services during construction. Funds will be budgeted through Transportation Department (640), Transportation Capital Fund (234) Arterial Life Cycle Program (ALCP), Sub-Project TT0339. The project will replace the existing two-lane bridge and two-lane low flow crossing with a new four-lane bridge crossing over the Salt River and connect to the existing roadway without changing the existing river flow pattern. The 60% Plans, Specifications and Cost estimate will be updated with an amended design and will be followed by a 95%, 100%, and Sealed submittals. 64. CHANGE ORDER WITH HDR ENGINEERING, INC. FOR FINAL DESIGN SERVICES ON GILBERT ROAD BRIDGE AT SALT RIVER Approve Change Order No. 7 for Consultant Services Contract No. 2015-039, with HDR Engineering to perform final design services for Maricopa County Department of Transportation, Project No. TT0339 Gilbert Rd Bridge at the Salt River, for a Sum not to exceed $5,893,056.57. This is an increase of $107,050.07 from the current contract value. The contract completion date will not change. The additional budget is needed due to the additional time and effort by the consultant to complete the coordination and documentation for the Conditional Letter Of Map Revision (CLOMR) submittal, additional utility design coordination, plus design exception documentation, and real estate legal description preparation. The project will replace the existing two-lane bridge and two-lane low flow crossing with a new four-lane bridge crossing over the Salt River. The goal of the design is to address the maintenance needs of the scour critical existing bridge and connect to the existing roadway without changing the existing river flow patterns.
