46. IGA WITH CITY OF LITCHFIELD PARK FOR IMPROVEMENTS TO MISSOURI AVENUE FROM LITCHFIELD ROAD Approve the Intergovernmental Agreement between Maricopa County and City of Litchfield Park for Improvements to Missouri Avenue from Litchfield Road to one-quarter mile east of Litchfield Road. Under the Intergovernmental Agreement, the agencies clarify maintenance responsibilities of Missouri Avenue after a new residential development is completed on the adjacent to the south side of Missouri Avenue. Mattamy Homes will construct a residential development project adjacent to the south side of Missouri Avenue between Litchfield Road and approximately one-quarter mile east of Litchfield Road. The south twenty (20) feet of Missouri Avenue will lie within Litchfield Park right-of-way. Upon completion, the County shall be responsible for maintenance of Missouri Avenue, including the project area. Mattamy Homes will resurface the north half of Missouri Avenue, as prescribed by the County, as part of the project for a smooth roadway surface for all lanes.
