47. BID AND AWARD FOR COUNTY ARTERIALS PROJECT: RIGGS ROAD - RECKER ROAD TO POWER ROAD Approve the solicitation of bids for the Maricopa County Department of Transportation’s Project County Arterials (ARTS) Sub-project TT0429 Riggs Road from Recker Road to Power Road, and approve the award of the contract to the lowest responsive responsible bidder, provided that the lowest responsive responsible bidder does not exceed the Engineer’s estimate by more than ten percent. Funds will be budgeted through the Transportation Department (640) Transportation Capital Projects fund (234) County Arterials (ARTS) Project, Sub-Project TT0429. The purpose of this project is to improve and widen Riggs Road from Recker Road to Power Road to three through lanes in each direction with a continuous left turn lane in the middle. The other improvements include drainage improvements, traffic signal improvements, signing and striping and utility relocation. Supervisory District No. 1. (C-64-17-024-5-00)
