49. BID AND AWARD FOR CONSTRUCTION OF STORM DRAIN IMPROVEMENTS AT EL MIRAGE ROAD AND NORTHERN AVENUE Approve the solicitation of bids for the Maricopa County Department of Transportation’s construction of storm drain improvements at El Mirage Road and Northern Avenue, including RGRCP Class IV storm drain pipe, headwall, drainage basin, and manholes. Award the contract to the lowest responsive bidder, provided that the lowest bidder does not exceed the Engineer’s estimate by more than ten percent. Funds will be budgeted through the Transportation Department (640) Transportation Capital Projects fund (234) Arterial Life Cycle Program (ALCP) Project, Sub-Project TT0543. This project will install drainage facilities for El Mirage Road crossing Northern Avenue which are necessary for the project TT0367 El Mirage Road Northern Ave to Peoria Avenue, intended to advertise shortly following TT0543. The storm drain will provide drainage for both El Mirage and Northern Parkway. Supervisory District No. 4. (C-64-17-026-5-00)
