71. IGA WITH CITY OF PEORIA FOR IMPROVEMENTS TO CALLE LEJOS FROM 97TH AVENUE TO 93RD AVENUE Approve the Intergovernmental Agreement between Maricopa County and City of Peoria for Improvements to Calle Lejos from 97th Avenue to 93rd Avenue. Under the Intergovernmental Agreement, the agencies will coordinate the improvements and future maintenance of the roadway, signing, and striping. Under this Agreement, this is a City-led project based on street improvements required as part of a new development being built adjacent to the north side of Calle Lejos. The north side of the roadway centerline is City jurisdiction; while south of centerline is County jurisdiction. This Agreement requires the County to continue its responsibility for roadway maintenance, excluding striping, of the south half of the street and all signs in County right-of-way. The City shall be responsible for all roadway maintenance of the north half of the street, all striping for the north and south halves of the street, and all signs within City right-of-way.
