52. AGREEMENT WITH MARICOPA ASSOCIATION OF GOVERNMENTS FOR IMPROVEMENTS TO MCKELLIPS ROAD: LOOP 101 TO SRP-MIC/ALMA SCHOOL ROAD Approve the Project (Agreement) between Maricopa County and Maricopa Association of Governments for McKellips Road: Loop 101 to SRP-MIC/Alma School Road. Under the Agreement, the agencies will coordinate the improvements, which include widening of McKellips Road, installation of a raised median, construction of bike lanes, installation of curb and gutter, construction of sidewalks. Funds are budgeted in FY2017-2020 Transportation Department (640) Transportation Capital Project Fund (234) MAG ALCP (ALCP) Project, sub-project TT0342. The estimated total cost for the project is $9,629,000, based on the terms in the agreement. The County’s estimated cost share contribution is $2,888,700. The federal funds estimated cost share contribution is $6,740,300. This Agreement authorizes the Parties to make cost adjustments necessary for inflation or otherwise required. Maricopa County Department of Transportation will act as the lead agency for all aspects of the Project. The Project will be designed and constructed in accordance with the standards adopted by Maricopa County. No annexation of the Project area is planned. Supervisory District No. 2 (C-64-17-077-M-00)
