FUNDS FROM COUNTY SUPERVISORS ASSOCIATION FOR ROADWAY NEEDS STUDY Approve and accept payment from the County Supervisors Association (CSA) for the Roadway Needs Study sponsored by the Arizona Association of County Engineers (AACE). CSA will collect and pay to Maricopa County on behalf of the other Counties in Arizona $102,427. Any unused funding will be returned to CSA upon completion of the study. At their March 24, 2016 Board of Directors Special Meeting, the AACE Board approved the Roadway Needs Study scope coupled with a funding mechanism whereby each participating county would fund the Roadway Needs Study. Maricopa County will procure consultant services to complete the Roadway Needs Study with support of an AACE Technical Advisory Committee. At the June 17, 2016 meeting of the AACE Board, Craig Sullivan with CSA confirmed the preferred Roadway Needs Study invoicing mechanism for participating counties will entail CSA sending a service fee invoice to each county rather than complete a multi-county intergovernmental agreement.
