58. INCREASE AMOUNT ON CONTRACT WITH QUEEN CREEK IRRIGATION DISTRICT Approval of Queen Creek Irrigation District invoice in the amount of $32,988 for engineering and administrative services. Funds are available in Transportation (640), Transportation Capital Project Fund (234), County Arterials (ARTS), Project, Sub-Project TT0429. On April 20, 2016 the board approved a proposal from Queen Creek Irrigation District (QCID) for the relocation of the QCID irrigation pipeline. The amount approved was $1,859,682. Due to a two month delay of Bureau of Reclamation (BOR) approval for the abandonment and replacement easement, the relocation of QCID facilities and several other utilities within the corridor was delayed. The QCID contractor remained on site working where possible during the delay and has submitted a final invoice for the relocation work however the additional overhead, engineering and administrative services exceeds the original amount of the proposal by $32,988.
