52. REGIONAL TRANSPORTATION PLAN MAJOR AMENDMENTS RECOMMENDATION Approve the Board’s recommendation that the proposed Major Amendments to the MAG 2040 Regional Transportation Plan (RTP), presently in draft form, be approved to add two projects to the RTP: Interstate 11, from I-10 to US 93, and Arizona State Route 30, from SR-85 to I-17. Under A.R.S. Section 28-6353(E)(2), the Board is required to submit written recommendations concerning the Major Amendment to the MAG Transportation Policy Committee within 30 days receipt of the notice from MAG.
