BID AND AWARD FOR BUSH HIGHWAY ASPHALT RUBBER OVERLAY, PACKAGE 2 Approve the solicitation of bids for the Maricopa County Department of Transportation’s System Preservation and Reconstruction (SPAR) Project, Sub-Project TT0348 Bush Highway Asphalt Rubber Overlay, and approve the award of the contract to the lowest responsive bidder, provided that the lowest bidder does not exceed the Engineer’s estimate by more than ten percent. Funds will be budgeted through the Transportation Department (640) Transportation Capital Projects fund (234) System Preservation and Reconstruction (SPAR) Project, Sub-Project TT0348. This is the third and final phase of the 15.4 mile project to improve Bush Highway. This phase will overlay the existing pavement and make other improvements to improve safety from the City of Mesa city limits to a point 985 feet east of Coon Bluff Road. (C-64-17-145-5-00)
