35. NEW TRAFFIC CONTROLS ON PALO VERDE ROAD Approve new traffic controls (No Stopping, Standing, Parking 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM School Days) on unincorporated right-of-way at the following location: 1. A NO STOPPING, STANDING, PARKING 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM SCHOOL DAYS ZONE on Palo Verde Road from Old US 80 to 920 feet north of Old US 80 (east side only). 2. A NO STOPPING, STANDING, PARKING 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM SCHOOL DAYS ZONE on Palo Verde Road from Old US 80 to 680 feet north of Old US 80 west side only). This agenda item is the result of a Traffic Engineering Study conducted at the request of the Palo Verde Elementary School Principal and Superintendent. Parent’s vehicles are parked on Maricopa County right-of-way causing sight obstructions to the vehicles entering and existing the Bus Drop-Off area.
