84. IGA WITH THE CITY OF PEORIA FOR THE INSTALLATION OF TRAFFIC SIGNALS AT HAPPY VALLEY ROAD AND VISTANCIA BOULEVARD Approve the Intergovernmental Agreement between Maricopa County and the City of Peoria for the Installation of Traffic Signals at Happy Valley Road and Vistancia Boulevard and at Deer Valley Road and 87th Avenue. Funds are budgeted in FY2019 Transportation Department (640) Transportation Capital Project Fund (234) for Traffic Management (TMAN) Project, sub-project TT0589. One leg of each intersection is owned by the County. The County’s cost share contribution includes design fees and construction costs for twenty-five percent (25%) of the cost of each traffic signal, not to exceed $195,000. Under this Agreement, the City will act as the lead agency for all aspects of the Project. The Project will be designed and constructed in Fiscal Year 2018. The County cost share contribution will not be paid until Fiscal Year 2019. The City shall own and operate both signa ls. Supervisory District No. 4 (C-64-18-082-M-00)
