IGA WITH THE CITY OF AVONDALE FOR IMPROVEMENTS TO EL MIRAGE ROAD FROM INDIAN SPRINGS ROAD TO SOUTHERN AVENUE Approve the Intergovernmental Agreement between Maricopa County and the City of Avondale for Improvements to El Mirage Road from Indian Springs Road to Southern Avenue. Under the Intergovernmental Agreement, the agencies will coordinate the improvements, which include replacing failed pipes with rubber gasket reinforced concrete pipe. Funds are budgeted in FY2017 -2018 Transportation Department (640) Transportation Capital Project Fund (234) for System Preservation and Reconstruction (SPAR) Project, sub-project TT0586. The estimated total cost for the project is $627,000, based on the terms in the agreement. The County’s estimated cost share contribution is $294,500.The City’s estimated cost share contribution is $332,500. The County is the lead agency on the Project. The Project will replace County-owned and City-owned pipes. The County will be responsible for the costs for the County-owned pipe replacement.
