50. LOOP 101 MOBILITY PROJECT, PHASE I Authorize the Maricopa County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) to expend an estimated $155,000 in County funds for Phase I of the L101 Mobility Partnership Project. The total estimated cost of Phase I is $310,000, for which the costs will be split evenly between MCDOT and the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT). Funds for participation are programmed in the Department Of Transportation Operating Fund (fund 232) for Sub-project TE059, L101 Mobility Partnership Project. This project will allow MCDOT to co-lead a large project with ADOT and other partner agencies, utilizing the L101 corridor as a model deployment candidate for advanced technologies and systems for congestion management and safety. Phase I of the L101 Mobility Partnership Project will allow MCDOT and ADOT to partner on consultant procurement and develop engineering and technology plans to determine the required design of the upcoming Project’s Phase II. This action impacts Supervisory District No. 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 (C-64-18-097-M-00)
