44. CHANGE IN TRAFFIC CONTROLS ON I 17 FRONTAGE ROAD Approve a change in traffic controls (Speed Limits) on unincorporated right-of-way at the following location: 1. A 45 MPH SPEED LIMIT ZONE (from a 30/40/50 MPH SPEED LIMIT ZONE) on I 17 Frontage Road from Plymouth Drive to New River Road (North). (This completely rescinds the 30 MPH speed limit zone dated February 2, 1987, the 40 MPH speed limit zone dated February 2, 1987 and the 50 MPH speed limit zone dated July 22, 1985). This agenda item is the result of a Traffic Engineering Study to install Speed Limit signs due to a change in the configuration of this section of roadway.
