BID AND AWARD FOR US 80 AT THE BUTTERFIELD WASH Approve for the solicitation of bids for the Maricopa County Department of Transportation’s construction of a permanent stormwater protection of the downstream side of the low-water wash crossing of Old US 80 at the Butterfield Wash. Award the contract to the lowest responsive bidder, provided that the lowest bid does not exceed the Engineer’s estimate by more than ten percent. Funds will be budgeted through the Maricopa County Transportation Department (D640) Transportation Capital Projects Fund (234) Traffic Management (TMAN), Sub-Project TT0560. The proposed project will construct permanent stormwater erosion protection for the downstream side of the low-water wash crossing of Old US 80 at the Butterfield Wash. This wash is located approximately 7 miles north of Gila Bend in Section 4 of T5S, R4W, within District 5 of Maricopa County, Arizona. Supervisory District No. 5. (C-64-18-142-5-00)
