56. AMENDMENT TO IGA WITH ARIZONA STATE UNIVERSITY FOR RESEARCH-ORIENTED TRAFFIC AND INTELLIGENT TRANSPORTATION SYSTEMS (ITS) DEVELOPMENT STUDIES Approve a three-year extension of the Intergovernmental Agreement (Agreement) between Maricopa County (MCDOT) and the Arizona Board of Regents, for and on behalf of Arizona State University (ASU), to provide Research-Oriented Traffic and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) Development Studies. This Agreement acts as a master document, under which project-specific Task Orders will be later approved by the partners upon their respective funding receipt and acceptance. This Agreement will support all funding sources. There is no fiscal impact at this time for this Agreement, as grants/federal funds are yet to be determined. As they come up, individual agenda items will be submitted for approval by the Board of Supervisors for the application, (if needed), acceptance and expenditures of such funds. Task Orders will then be expedited to better address ITS projects as they come up. This action impacts Supervisory District No(s): 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 (C-64-19-072-M-01)
