IGA WITH THE CITY OF BUCKEYE FOR FIRE PREEMPTION EQUIPMENT INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE Approve the Intergovernmental Agreement between Maricopa County and the City of Buckeye for the installation, operation, and maintenance of fire preemption equipment on County-owned traffic signal at MC85 (Buckeye Road) and Rainbow Road. Either Party may terminate this Agreement at any time prior to the expiration date by furnishing the other Party with a thirty (30) day written notice. The purpose of this Agreement is to define the responsibilities of each Party related to the purchasing, installation, and maintenance of fire preemption equipment as part of County project TT0534. The County project will install a new traffic signal at MC85 (Buckeye Road) and Rainbow Road that will be owned, operated, and maintained by the County. Under this Agreement, the City shall purchase fire preemption equipment compatible with County traffic signals and controllers and the County will install the equipment as part of the project. The County will provide routine maintenance upon completion of the project. The City will incur all costs associated with replacement parts needed as part of normal, routine maintenance.
