50. NEW TRAFFIC CONTROLS ON NEW RIVER ROAD Approve new traffic controls (No Stopping, Standing, Parking Any Time) on unincorporated right-of-way at the following locations: 1. A No Stopping, Standing, Parking Any Time Zone on Interstate 17 Frontage Road from 145 feet south of New River Road north to New River Road (east side only). 2. A No Stopping, Standing, Parking Any Time Zone on New River Road from Interstate 17 Frontage Road to 130 feet east of Interstate 17 Frontage Road (south side only). These traffic control changes are the result of a Traffic Engineering Study conducted at the request of the New River Desert Hills Community Association. Vehicles are parking in the road/shoulder areas to look at vehicles that are for sale on the southwest corner of this intersection. In the interest of public safety these signs are warranted.
