41. AGREEMENT WITH BUCKEYE WATER CONSERVATION AND DRAINAGE DISTRICT FOR IMPROVEMENTS TO MC85: 95TH AVENUE TO 107TH AVENUE Approve The Partnership Agreement between the Buckeye Water Conservation (BWCDD) and Maricopa County for the relocation of the private irrigation ditch in conflict with the MCDOT Roadway Improvement Project TT0511, MC85: 95th Avenue to 107th Avenue. The estimated cost to relocate the private ditch facilities is $1,394,810. Funds are budgeted in Transportation System Management (TMAN) project, Sub-Project TT0511 MC 85: 95th Avenue to 107th Avenue. All property owners have been compensated for a temporary construction easement in order for the work to take place. MCDOT has coordinated the work in partnership with SRP Irrigation (the water provider), BWCDD, DBA Contractors, the farmer and the property owners. All of the work to relocate this private irrigation ditch is necessary for the road work to occur, therefore MCDOT is responsible for all costs related to the construction and relocation of these facilities. Approval of this agreement will allow relocation of the private ditch facilities during the January – February 2020 dry-up period, in advance of MCDOT roadway construction.
