34. IGA WITH THE TOWN OF GILBERT FOR IMPROVEMENTS FOR LINDSAY ROAD FROM SPUR ROAD TO LAYTON LAKES BOULEVARD SOUTH Approve the Intergovernmental Agreement between Maricopa County and the Town of Gilbert for the design and construction of Lindsay Road from Spur Road to Layton Lakes Boulevard South. Under this Intergovernmental Agreement, Maricopa County and the Town of Gilbert will widen Lindsay Road to four lanes with a striped median, sidewalk, and drainage improvements and install a traffic signal. The road is currently owned and operated by Maricopa County. The Town of Gilbert will lead the Project and annex the Project prior to the start of construction of the Project. The estimated cost to complete construction of the Project is $2,820,500 with the County’s cost share contribution is estimated to be $1,410,250. Funds will be budgeted in FY2020 Transportation Department (640) Transportation Capital Project Fund (234) Transportation System Management Project, Sub-Project TT0630. The terms of the agreement are in effect as of Board of Supervisors approval and shall remain in full force and effect until all stipulations have been satisfied, except that it may be amended upon written agreement by all parties.
