BUDGET ADJUSTMENT FOR FISCAL YEAR 1 (2020) TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM Approve the follow adjustments to the Department of Transportation (D640) FY 2020 budget and FY 2020 – FY 2024 Transportation Capital Improvement Plan. Decrease expenditure appropriation in the Transportation Capital Projects fund (234) for the Transportation System Management (TMAN) appropriation group by $10,000,000 and increase the expenditure appropriation in the Transportation Capital Projects fund (234) System Preservation and Reconstruction (SPAR) Appropriation Group by $10,000,000.. Decrease expenditure appropriation in the Transportation Capital Projects fund (234) for the Dust Mitigation (DMIT) Appropriation Group by $2,000,000 and increase the expenditure appropriation in the Transportation Capital Projects fund (234) Capacity (CAPY) appropriation group by $2,000,000. For fiscal Year 1 (2020) the Board of Supervisors approved the Department of Transportation capital budget of $113,391,278 with the condition that any movement of budget funds between projects must be approved by the Board. The requested adjustment is necessary to realign project budgets to provide funding to more closely match the year-end projected expenditure amounts.
