60. AMENDMENT TO IGA WITH THE CITY OF PEORIA FOR DEER VALLEY ROAD FROM EL MIRAGE ROAD TO 109TH AVENUE Approve the Intergovernmental Agreement Amendment between Maricopa County and the City of Peoria for the Deer Valley Road from El Mirage Road to 109th Avenue project requiring the City to contribute $734,000 towards the project's cost. The Parties previously entered into an Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) under agenda item number C-64-20-193-M-00, which became effective on June 10, 2020. The IGA was recorded as Maricopa County Recorder No. 2020556092. The Board's approval would amend the IGA to include the City's requests that the County construct and install a 16-inch reclaimed pipe as part of the project. The cost of the Waterline Improvement, currently estimated at $734,000, does include additional labor and materials, and other related items. The City will design the Waterline Improvement to the City and MAG Standards. The costs of the Waterline Improvement will be the sole responsibility of the City, and the County's approved construction contractor will complete the installation retained for the project.
