BID AND AWARD FOR TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM MANAGEMENT PROJECT: FY19 ARAC - SOUTH ARTERIALS Approve the solicitatio n of bids for the Maricopa County Department of Transportation’s Transportation System Management project. The work consists of rehabilitating the four roadway segments on Yuma Rd, Narramore Rd, Southern Ave, and Dobbins Rd with mill of the existing paveme nt and overlay of Asphalt Rubber Asphalt Concrete (ARAC). Also included in the project is signing and striping and adjustment of existing utility valves and manholes to account for the new overlay. Award the contract to the lowest responsive responsible bi dder, provided that the lowest responsive responsible bidder does not exceed the Engineer’s estimate by more than ten percent. Funds will be budgeted through the Transportation Department (D640) Transportation Capital Projects fund (234) System Preservatio n and Reconstruction (SPAR) Project, Sub-Project TT0595.
