63. CHANGE IN TRAFFIC CONTROLS ON GATES ROAD Approve a change in traffic controls (Speed Limits) on unincorporated right-of-way at the following location: 1. A 35 MPH SPEED LIMIT ZONE on Gates Road from 271st Avenue to US 60. 2. A 25 MPH SPEED LIMIT ZONE on Gates Road from one mile west of 271st Avenue east to 271st Avenue. (This rescinds the 15 MPH SPEED LIMIT ZONE dated September 18, 2018). This traffic control change is the result of an engineering study conducted at the request of the residents and th e Maricopa County Department of Transportation to install posted speed limits on this section of road that was recently chip sealed.
