IGA WITH THE CITY OF LITCHFIELD PARK TO WAIVE TRAFFIC CONTROL PERMIT FEES Approve the Intergovernmental Agreement between Maricopa County and City of Litchfield Park to waive traffic control permit fees in certain situations. Under the Intergovernmental Agreement, the agencies will agree to reciprocally waive traffic control permit fees for projects meeting specific requirements. The Agreement will remain in effect through June 30, 2022 unless extended by appropriate actions by the County and City. Either party may terminate this Agreement at any time prior to the expiration date by furnishing the other party with a thirty (30) day written notice. This Agreement will allow for traffic control permit fees to be waived when the City has a project adjacent to or near County right-of-way, the County is not a partner to the project, and the City needs to place traffic control in County right-of-way for appropriate notice and safety. The traffic control permit fees would be waived for County projects meeting the same conditions. Both parties are required to submit traffic control plans and follow standard permitting requirements. The review of the traffic control permit application plans would be expedited by both parties to allow for timely project delivery. Supervisory District No. 4 (C-64-21-061-X-00)
