69. CHANGE IN TRAFFIC CONTROLS ON LOWER BUCKEYE ROAD Approve a change in traffic controls (Speed Limits) on unincorporated right-of-way at the following location: 1. A 40 MPH SPEED LIMIT ZONE (from a 45/35 MPH SPEED LIMIT ZONE) on Lower Buckeye Road from Litchfield Road to El Mirage Road. (This rescinds the 45 MPH SPEED LIMIT ZONE dated December 29, 1975 and the 35 MPH SPEED LIMIT ZONE dated November 19, 2003). This traffic control change is the result of an engineering study conducted at the request of the City of Avondale to lower the posted speed limit on this section of road that has changed from rural to urban.
