IGA WITH THE FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT OF MARICOPA COUNTY FOR BUCKEYE YARD USAGE Approve an Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) between Maricopa County Department of Transportation (County) and the Flood Control District of Maricopa County (District) to collaborate on the District’s continued usage of the County’s Buckeye Yard in the West Valley. The amount to be reimbursed by the District to the County is $12,142 annually. The purpose of this IGA is to identify and define the responsibilities of the County and District with respect to the District’s need for office, yard and storage space to support its Operation and Maintenance Division. The IGA shall become effective July 1, 2020 and remain in full force and effect until June 30, 2025. The IGA may be amended by the Parties at any time. The COUNTY owns Assessor Parcel Number 401-87-001G (Buckeye Yard), as reflected in the attached IGA Exhibit A. The Buckeye Yard has facilities that meet the needs of the District, whose current usage is pursuant to a lease that commenced May 1, 2015 and expired June 30, 2020. The Maricopa County Board of Supervisors ratified that lease document in 2016. Supervisor District 4. (C-64-21-076-X-00)
