61. IGA WITH THE CITY OF AVONDALE FOR THE INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE OF TRAFFIC IMPROVEMENTS AT THE INTERSECTION OF BROADWAY ROAD & AVONDALE BOULEVARD Approve the Intergovernmental Agreement between Maricopa County and the City of Avondale for the installation of warning signage and object markers on the approaches to Broadway Road and Avondale Boulevard. This Agreement shall become effective as of the date it is approved by the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors and remain in full force and effect until either Party terminates it. Either Party may terminate this Agreement at any time before the expiration date of this Agreement by furnishing the other Party with a thirty (30) day written notice. The purpose of this Agreement is to identify and define the responsibilities of the County and the City for the installation and maintenance of warning signage and object markers. The City will take the lead on the installation of the warning signage and object markers on the approaches to Broadway Road and Avondale Boulevard. The County currently operates and maintains approximately 1,200 feet of Broadway Road east of the intersection. The City will invoice the County for an amount not to exceed $15,000 upon completion of construction. Supervisory District No. 4 (C-64-21-173-X-00)
