52. COMPETITION IMPRACTICABLE WITH DBA CONSTRUCTION, INC. FOR MC85: 91ST AVENUE TO 95TH AVENUE Request approval of the attached single source Competition Impracticable Form, for the additional necessary construction activities related to the relocation of the irrigation facilities in conflict with the MCDOT Roadway Improvement Project TT0651, MC85: 91st Avenue to 95th Avenue by DBA Construction Inc. The estimated cost for the additional structures, back-fill of the open irrigation channel and traffic control in the amount of $260,457.14. Funds are budgeted in Transportation System Management (TMAN) project, Sub-Project TT0651 MC85: MC85: 91st Avenue to 95th Avenue. The Chief Procurement Officer can approve procurement up to $100,000. This request is over the $100,000 and must be submitted as an agenda item to the Board of Supervisors for consideration. The initial contract was for $950,000.00 plus the additional $260, 457.14 for a total cost of $1,210,457.10. Supervisory District No. 5. (C-64-21-194-X-00)
