65. UTILITY AGREEMENT WITH SALT RIVER PROJECT (SRP) FOR CONSTRUCTION AND CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT OF A WATERLINE ON THE GILBERT RD. BRIDGE Approve the contract between Maricopa County and Salt River Project (SRP) for Construction and Construction Management of a Waterline on the Gilbert Rd. Bridge Project. SRP is responsible for the cost associated with the construction of the waterline, as well as any future operation and maintenance of it, which is currently estimated to be $5,118,617.92. The County is in the process of planning and constructing a bridge for Gilbert Road going over the Salt River. SRP owns, operates and maintains multiple wells within the vicinity of the Bridge Project. SRP has requested County construct, at SRP’s expense, a waterline as part of the Bridge Project so SRP can connect the wells. SRP will pay half up front at the time of Notice to Proceed and the balance upon construction completion. (C-64-22-180-X-00)
