IGA WITH GILA RIVER INDIAN COMMUNITY (GRIC) FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF SIDEWALKS Approve the Intergovernmental Agreement between Maricopa County and Gila River Indian Community (GRIC) for the construction of sidewalks within County right-of-way. Either Party may terminate this Agreement at any time prior to the expiration date by furnishing the other Party with a thirty (30) day written notice. The purpose of this Agreement is to authorize the County to permit the construction of sidewalk facilities in County right-of-way and for GRIC to maintain and operate the new sidewalk facilities. The Community has been awarded tribal safety funding and has requested to construct sidewalks within County right-of-way from the Community boundary from the west to 83rd Avenue and from 83rd Avenue south to the District Seven Service Center.
