110. IGA WITH CITY OF PHOENIX FOR INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENTS AT 67TH AVENUE AND VINEYARD ROAD Approve the Intergovernmental Agreement between Maricopa County and the City of Phoenix for the improvements to the intersection of 67th Avenue and Vineyard Road. Vineyard Road and 67th Avenue is an existing unsignalized intersection with stop control in all directions. The County currently maintains and operat es the north and south leg of 67th Avenue and the City maintains and operates the east and west leg of Vineyard Road. The purpose of this Agreement is to authorize the County to coordinate with the City to construct a traffic signal at the intersection bas ed on the 2018 warrant study. The County has led the design and will lead the construction efforts. The project is currently estimated at $281,695. The County will be responsible for approximately $211,271 of the construction costs. The funds are budgeted in FY2024 Transportation Department (640) Transportation Capital Project Fund (234) Five Year Program in the Transportation System Management Project, sub-project TT0645. The City shall be responsible for approximately $70,424 of the construction costs. Once complete the County and City will continue to maintain their respective legs of the intersection. Either Party may terminate this Agreement at any time prior to the expiration date by furnishing the other Party with a thirty (30) day written notice. Supervisory District No. 5 (C-64-22-296-X-00)
