44. ROAD ABANDONMENT: ROAD FILE NO. AB-364 Pursuant to A.R.S. §28-7214, set a hearing for April 10, 2024 to adopt Resolution AB-364 to abandon a portion of Maple Street between Meyers Ave and Hovey Ave by extinguishing the easement which was conveyed to Maricopa County on the Plat of Nadaburg Townsite on July 9th, 1924 and recorded by the Maricopa County Recorder in Book 13 Page 24. LEGAL DESCRIPTION AB-364 Two Parcels of land being a portion of the Nadaburg Townsite plat recorded in Book 13, Page 24 Maricopa County Records lying in the Northwest Quarter of Section 13, Township 5 North, Range 3 West of the Gila and Salt River Base and Meridian, Maricopa County, Arizona, and being more particularly described as follows: Parcel One: Commencing at the North Quarter corner of said Section 13, from which the Northwest corner of said Section bears North 89°37'17" West, for a distance of 2638.47 feet; THENCE along the North Section line of said Section, North 89°37'17" West, for a distance of 588.08 feet to the intersection of the elongation of the centerline of Maple Street as shown on said plat; THENCE departing said Section line and along the centerline of Maple Street, South 43°23'27" West, for a distance of 334.02 feet to the centerline intersection of Maple Street and Hovey Avenue as shown on said plat; THENCE continuing on the centerline of Maple Street, South 43°23'27" West, for a distance of 30.00 feet to the Point of Beginning; THENCE departing said centerline, South 46°36'33" East, for a distance of 30.00 feet to a point on the Southerly Right of line of Maple Street; THENCE along said Southerly Right of Way line, South 43°23'27" West, for a distance of 140.00 feet; THENCE departing said Right of Way line, North 46°36'33" West, for a distance of 30.00 feet to said centerline; THENCE departing said centerline, North 46°36'33" West, for a distance of 30.00 feet to a point on the Northerly Right of Way line of said Maple Street; THENCE along said Northerly Right of Way North 43°23'27" East, for a distance of 140.00 feet; THENCE departing said Northerly Right of Way line, South 46°36'33" East, for a distance of 30.00 feet to the Point of Beginning. The above described parcels: Parcel One contains 8400 square feet or 0.1928 acres, more or less, and Parcel Two contains 8400 square feet or 0.1928 acres. more or less for a total of 16,800 square feet or 0.3856 acres more or less. (General Vicinity: Center St and US 60. Supervisory District No. 4) In addition, direct the Clerk of the Board to record the Board of Supervisors resolution with the County Recorder.
