68. IGA WITH CITY OF PHOENIX FOR (TE088) CONNECTED VEHICLE ACCELERATION ZONE PROJECT (Supervisorial District: 3 and 5) Approve the Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) between Maricopa County and the City of Phoenix (City) to deploy interoperable Connected Vehicle (CV) and Vehicle to Everything (V2X) technologies within the County. This is part of the previously approved Board of Supervisors Connected Vehicle Acceleration Zone (Project). The Project seeks to enable vehicular communication with each other, other road users and roadside infrastructure. The Project is funded from local funds and through a federal grant award. The County will act as Lead agency for planning, design, procurement, construction and construction management for the Project. The City will provide the total local match required for the project. The contribution from the City of Phoenix is $1,987,000. The County will only provide coordination, planning and design. The County will not be providing any local match funding for this project, the local match it is all contributed by the City Of Phoenix. This Agreement shall become effective as of the date it is executed by all the governing bodies of the Parties and shall remain in full force and effect until all stipulations previously indicated have been satisfied. This Agreement may be amended only upon mutual written consent of all Parties. (C-64-26-124-X-00)
