100. CONSULTANT SERVICES CONTRACT 2026-046 WITH KIMLEY-HORN & ASSOCIATES FOR (TT0571) LITCHFIELD ROAD: NORTHERN PARKWAY FINAL DESIGN & POST DESIGN SERVICES (Supervisorial District: 4) Maricopa County Department of Transportation is requesting approval of the award of Contract to Kimley-Horn and Associates Inc. to perform final design and post design services for Transportation Improvement Project (TIP) TT0571 – Litchfield Rd, Northern Pkwy to Peoria Ave. The current construction estimate is $10,797,877. The amount being requested for the said services is one million four hundred eleven thousand five hundred thirty-nine dollars and twenty-six cents ($1,411,539.26). The contract completion duration will be one thousand, seven hundred and ten (1,710) calendar days after the receipt of Notice to Proceed. The purpose of this roadway project is to address the capacity needs along Litchfield Rd. This project will also coordinate with the City of Surprise and other stakeholders in this corridor. An intergovernmental agreement will be completed with the City of Surprise for the traffic signal on the intersection of Litchfield Rd & Peoria Ave. Maricopa County Department of Transportation received four proposals for the final design and post design services when this was advertised for Request for Qualification (RFQ). The consultant Kimley-Horn and Associates was selected through this process by the selection committee based on their qualifications. (C-64-27-038-X-00)
