63. TRANSFER OF COUNTY RIGHT-OF-WAY TO THE CITY OF CHANDLER: RESOLUTION NO. 5873 (Supervisorial District: 1) Pursuant to A.R.S. § 9-471(O), approve the transfer of County rights-of-way to the City of Chandler, Arizona. The County rights-of-way are situated along portions of Chandler Heights Road. In accordance with City of Chandler Resolution No. 5873 the transferred rights-of-way will be treated as newly annexed territory. In addition, direct the Clerk of the Board to record the Clerk Certification with the recorded City Ordinance with the County Recorder. General Vicinity: Chandler Heights Road. Southwest Corner Chandler Heights Road and Alma School Road; Portion of Appleby Road and the Consolidated Canal; Portion of Chandler Heights Road between Arizona Avenue and East of Union Pacific Railroad; Portion of Chandler Boulevard between McQueen Road and Lakeview Boulevard; Portion of Frye Road between Gilbert Road and Country Place. City of Chandler adopted Resolution No. 5873 on February 20, 2025, transferring County rights-of-way and has requested mutual consent of the Board of Supervisors pursuant to A.R.S. § 9-471(O). Resolution No. 5873, approved and adopted by the Mayor and Council of the City of Chandler extends and increases the corporate limits of the City of Chandler, Maricopa County, Arizona. The action transfers certain County rights-of-way being described in the attached Resolution No. 5873. The transferred rights-of-way will be treated as newly annexed territory. (C-64-27-048-X-00)
