LA-1. POLARIS EXPANSION Approve the expansion of the Polaris on-line integrated library automation system. Also, approve an increase to the FY 2008-09 Library District (650) Library District Fund (244) Non-Recurring/Non-Project (0001) expenditure budget in the amount of $320,600. This amount is the necessary funding for the one-time expansion of the on-line integrated Polaris Automation System. The expansion is necessary in order for the District to continue to support the current and future usage levels. The Districts customers utilize the system for resume preparation, job searches and on-line job applications to name a few. Future recurring maintenance charges will be included in the Library District FY 10 and future budget requests. (C-65-09-011-2-00)
