L-2. DONATIONS TO THE LIBRARY DISTRICT Approve and accept the following donations: Outside bookdrop to replace old one at Southeast Regional Library valued at $4,339.88 donated by the Friends of the Southeast Regional Library. Cash in the amount of $645.00 to the Ed Robson Branch and $645.00 to the Guadalupe Branch for the Summer Reading Program from the New Friends of the Maricopa Library District, Inc.; $4,960.00 to the Litchfield Park Branch for the Summer Reading Program from the Friends of the Litchfield Library; $25,000.00 to the Southeast Regional Library and $2,500.00 to the Perry Branch for the Summer Reading Program from the Friends at the Southeast Regional Library. Total value of products is $4,339.88 and total cash is $33,750.00. The theme for the 2009 Summer Reading Program is "Be Creative at Your Library." Donations from Friends of the Library from the branches allows each child that completes the program to take home a new book appropriate for their age level. (C-65-10-001-D-00)
