L-3. APPLY AND ACCEPT GRANT FUNDS FROM TARGET FOR SUMMER READING PROGRAM Approve the application and acceptance of grant funds from Target (180106DO document number) in the not-to-exceed amount of $15,000.00 for the Library District's 2010 Summer Reading Program. The Department of Finance has calculated the Library District's composite indirect cost rate at 5.5%. The grant allows a 0% rate for indirect costs. Unrecoverable indirect cost is $825. Also, approve a revenue and expenditure appropriation adjustment to the Library District (650) Library District Grants (242) Non-Recurring (0001) budget in the amount of $15,000.00 for FY 2009-2010. The Library District's Summer Reading Program continues to increase every year. In 2008, 45,700 children and teens participated. In 2009, 63,000 children and teens took part. The Grant period is from January 10, 2010 until the end of the Summer Reading Program, July 18, 2010. (C-65-10-013-M-00)
