L-3. ACCEPT LSTA GRANT FUNDS FROM THE STATE LIBRARY ARCHIVES AND PUBLIC RECORDS FOR E-BOOK SERVICE Accept LSTA grant funds from the State Library Archives and Public Records in the amount of $25,000.00. These funds are to be used for new e-Book service from 3-M called "Cloud Library." 3-M currently provides the District check-in and checkout machines. These funds must be spent prior to August 3, 2012. The Department of Finance has calculated the Library District's composite administrative cost rate at 6.5%. The grant allows a 0% rate for administrative fees. Unrecoverable indirect cost is $1,625.00. Also, approve a revenue and expenditure appropriation adjustment to the Library District (650) Library District Grants (242) Non-Recurring Non-Project (0001) budget in the amount of $25,000.00 for FY 2011-2012. The goal of this project is to pilot a new innovative e-Book service to expand digital resources available to residents of maricopa County and to provide training for front-line staff to teach customers how to download library materials using a new innovative virtual service.
