L-4. IGA WITH THE CITY OF PHOENIX FOR DIGITAL LIBRARY RESERVE CONTENT APPLICATION SERVICES Approve an Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) between the Maricopa County Library District and the City of Phoenix that allows the District to transfer its catalog of digital titles to the Greater Phoenix Digital Library - a consortium of 10 other valley libraries in addition to MCLD. This will give MCLD customers access to 55,000 unique digital titles and over 87,000 total copies which includes all digital formats of books, videos, music, etc. The District will make an annual contribution of digital content to the Greater Phoenix Digital Library in an amount of at least $50,000 and an annual maintenance and hosting fee of $6,000 no later than January 15th of each year beginning January 15, 2012. Phoenix agrees to continue to operate and maintain and provide the District access to the Greater Phoenix Digital Library. (C-65-12-003-M-00)
