L-1. ACCEPT A STATE LIBRARY SERVICES AND TECHNOLOGY ACT GRANT FROM THE ARIZONA STATE LIBRARY, ARCHIVES AND PUBLIC RECORDS Accept a State Library Services and Technology Act Grant for Fiscal Year 2013-2014 in the amount $150,000.00 from the Arizona State Library, Archives and Public Records. These funds are to be used for the Library District to develop a fun, engaging and aesthetically appealing software platform to be used in an online environment to enrich traditional summer reading programs called the Great Reading Adventure. These funds must be used by August 4, 2014. The Library District's indirect rate for FY14 is 7.7%. The grant allows 0% for indirect cost recovery. Unrecoverable indirect costs are estimated to be $11,550.00. Also, approve a revenue and expenditure appropriation adjustment to the Library District (650) Library District Grants (242) Non-Recurring Non-Project (0001) budget in the amount of $150,000.00 for FY 2013-2014.
