L-8. REMOVE AND DISPOSE OF MISCELLANEOUS SURPLUS ITEMS Authorize Gila River Indian Community Branch of Boys & Girls Clubs of the East Valley to remove and dispose of miscellaneous surplus shelving from Library District storage. The Maricopa County Library District has many items which the Maricopa County Surplus Program has deemed to have no resale value and can be liquidated. Rather than dispose of these items in the County landfill, the Library District and the Maricopa County Green Government Program respectfully request approval to donate these items to a local charity, Gila River Indian Community Branch of Boys & Girls Clubs of the East Valley, who is willing to take the items. Donating these items to Gila River Indian Community Branch of Boys & Girls Clubs of the East Valley will result in less waste and will help the residents of Maricopa County. THIS ITEM REQUIRES UNANIMOUS CONSENT OF THE BOARD (C-65-14-030-M-00)
