L-1. AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF SCOTTSDALE FOR PURCHASE OF AND SUBSCRIPTION TO THE POLARIS INTEGRATED LIBRARY SYSTEM Approve the Agreement between the Maricopa County Library District and the City of Scottsdale for purchase of and subscription to the Polaris Integrated Library System for the City of Scottsdale Public Libraries. The Maricopa County Library District will fund the purchase of a unique instance of Polaris and subscription services, fund the migration of the City of Scottsdale's current Innovative Interfaces Sierra data including acquisitions, fund the installation and implementation of a unique instance of Polaris and related products, including acquisitions, and provide funding for first line assistance and troubleshooting services for issues with Polaris and associated products, including network connectivity and diagnosis, provided by and through the Polaris vender. Additional features or support outside the scope of this Agreement shall be at the sole expense of the City. The agreement is effective upon execution by both the Maricopa Library District and the City of Scottsdale and shall be in effect for a term expiring on July 1, 2021. Also approve an increase to the FY2013-2014 budget for the Library District (650), Library District Fund (244), Non-Recurring/Non-Project (0001) expenditures appropriated budget in the amount of $230,000. This agreement is in conjunction with the Library District's "Plan of Service" approved by the Library District Board of Directors. (C-65-14-037-M-00)
