L-1. IGA WITH TOWN OF GILBERT FOR OPERATION OF SOUTHEAST REGIONAL LIBRARY AND PERRY BRANCH LIBRARY Approve and allow the Chairman to execute an Intergovernmental Agreement with the Maricopa County Library District and the Town of Gilbert for operation of the Southeast Regional Library and Perry Branch Library. The term of this agreement is for a five-year term starting July 1, 2016 to June 30, 2021, subject to annual appropriations to fund the agreement. This agreement may be renewed for one additional five-year term by mutual agreement of the parties. The Town of Gilbert will reimburse the Library District for the cost of operation for both facilities. (C-65-16-024-M-00)

AMENDMENT TO IGA WITH THE TOWN OF GILBERT FOR LIBRARY OPERATIONS Approve and execute the First Amendment to the Intergovernmental Agreement (# C-65-16-024-M-00) between the Maricopa County Library District and the Town of Gilbert for the operation of the Southeast Regional Library located at 775 North Greenfield Road, Gilbert, AZ 85234 AND the Perry Library located at 1965 East Queen Creek Road, Gilbert, AZ 85142. This First Amendment to the Intergovernmental Agreement (# C-65-16-024-M-00) will extend the term for a period of five (5) years commencing on July 1, 2021 and continuing through June 30, 2026.
