H-5. RESOLUTION NO. 11-039 APPROVING AMENDMENTS TO SECTION 12 RECERTIFICATIONS OF THE ADMINISTRATIVE POLICY FOR THE SECTION 8 HOUSING CHOICE VOUCHER PROGRAM Adopt Resolution No. 11-039 and approve amendments to Section 12 Recertifications of the Administrative Policy for the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program previously approved on August 17, 2010. This policy has been reviewed and updated to reflect new HUD guidelines as it relates to conducting annual re-certifications and coordinating annual activities. It also explains the interim reporting requirements for families, and the standards for timely reporting. This policy amendment will be effective upon approval of the Board of Commissioners. The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) requires the Housing Authority of Maricopa County (HAMC) obtain governing board approval of all Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program policies where HUD has allowed the housing authority to make program decisions based on local and agency needs.
