H-8. REVISION TO THE HOUSING CHOICE VOU CHER ADMINISTRATIVE POLICY SECTION 21 PROJECT-BASED ASSISTANCE PLAN Adopt Resolution No. 12-030 and approve revision to the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Policy Section 21, Project Based Assistance Plan. Section 21 is amended to provide public notice of the Project Based Voucher Program Wait List in a manner consistent with the standard opening and closing of the regular Housing Choice Voucher Program Wait List. The revised policy will be effective upon approval by the Board of Commissioners. This policy change is consistent with HUD requirements. The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) requires the Housing Authority of Maricopa County (HAMC) to obtain governing board approval of all Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program policies where HUD has allowed the housing authority to make program decisions based on local and agency needs.
