H-2. RESOLUTION 14-005 CONTRACT AWARD TO BLACKHAWK CONSTRUCTION, LLC (CONTRACT NO. R 2877) FOR THE CLARE FELDSTADT HOMES II IN MESA UNIT RECONFIGURATION PROJECT Adopt Resolution No. 14-005 and award Contract No. R 2877 to Blackhawk Construction, LLC to reconfigure Clare Feldstadt Homes II in Mesa buildings 1, 2, and 10 currently housing 6, 4-bedroom units to house 12, 1-bedroom units. The total Not-to-Exceed value of this firm fixed price contract is $469,957.00. The contract is effective March 1, 2014. The work to be performed under this contract shall be commenced within ten (10) calendar days of receipt of “Notice to Proceed,” and shall be completed in 120 calendar days. The Housing Authority of Maricopa County conducted an Invitation for Bid for the reconfiguration of units at Clare Feldstadt Homes II in Mesa. The solicitation was conducted pursuant to 24CFR85.36(d)(2). Notice of Invitation for Bid was published in the Arizona Republic Legal Section on Sunday, December 8, 2013 and Sunday, December 15, 2013. A mandatory pre-bid meeting was held at the property in Mesa on Wednesday, December 11, 2013. Thirteen companies were represented at the pre-bid meeting. Four proposals were received by the deadline of Thursday, January 16, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. (C-66-14-024-M-00)
