H-2. RESOLUTION 15-013 HOUSING AUTHORITY OF MARICOPA COUNTY ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEMBER APPOINTMENTS Adopt Resolution No. 15-013 and appoint the following individuals to the Housing Authority of Maricopa County Advisory Committee for a one year term expiring on June 30, 2016: Marcus Ridgway, appointed by Commissioner Steve Chucri, District 2 Lillian Mickey Lund, appointed by Commissioner Clint Hickman, District 4 Adopt Resolution No. 15-013 and appoint the following individuals to the Housing Authority of Maricopa County Advisory Committee for two year terms expiring on June 30, 2017: Kathy Di Nolfi, appointed by Commissioner Denny Barney, District 1 Jake Hinman, appointed by Commissioner Andrew Kunasek, District 3 Gina Ramos Montes, appointed by Commissioner Steve Gallardo, District 5 Amy Schwabenlender, appointed by County Manager Rachel Springer, resident board member, appointed by the Board of Commissioners Amy Jacobson, Assistant Director, Community Development, Maricopa County Human Services, appointed by County Manager (non-voting member) Pursuant to Article II, Section 1 Membership of the Housing Authority of Maricopa County Advisory Committee Bylaws, beginning July 1, 2015, Advisory Committee terms will be extended to two (2) years and the terms will be staggered. In order to stagger the terms, (6) six members will serve a term of (2) two years, and the remaining members will serve a (1) one year term. Those appointed for the initial two-year terms shall be the appointees from Supervisorial Districts One, Three, and Five; one of the County Manager’s appointees; one of the Resident Committee Members; and the non-voting member who is a Maricopa County employee. The remaining members will serve (1) one year terms at first. Once the system of Staggered Terms is fully in place, subsequent appointments shall be for terms of (2) two years. Members may be reappointed. The policy change will be effective upon Board approval. This item has no financial impact. (C-66-15-025-M-00)
